How it all started
In 1995 Clifford Electronics Benelux was set up to sell Clifford’s products and provide commercial and technical support to their dealer network. Clifford is number 1 in automobile security; 92% of all patents in this sector are registered in Clifford’s name. Clifford is, amongst others, the inventor of the hand transmitter.
What do we do?
We are currently a full cycle supplier of high value automobile electronics and alarm systems as well as the best vehicle tracking systems and accident prevention systems. We take care of everything: from installation to after sales service. In addition, we offer technical support and development, a hard- & software platform for all our products, and a help desk.
Why do we do this?
We want to make vehicles safer, more intelligent and more comfortable. We do this by providing them with high quality security and warning systems which provide support for the driver. This is not an excessive luxury: statistics show that in 2010 17.189 cars were stolen, 18.420 people were wounded and 640 people were killed. Our systems can contribute to a lowering of these numbers.
Who do we work for?
We sell our products via a network of over 200 installation specialists and large brand dealers. In addition, we work with government, insurers, and (transport) companies on innovative telematics projects; developing tailor made solutions.
